Such is the popularity of our Vegetarian Cookery Course, we held it at Château Ventenac for the sixth time in autumn 2012. In May 2013, Rachel Demuth’s Vegetarian Cookery School returns to provide another culinary treat in the beautiful surroundings of the Château.
As a restaurant owner, chef, author, columnist and cookery school tutor, Rachel Demuth has been pioneering creative, healthy and unpretentious vegetarian food for over 25 years.
Our residential course provides a combination of demonstrations and hands-on cookery, covering seasonal Mediterranean dishes using the best seasonal vegetables, local oils and wines.
You will also visit a superb local market and enjoy the flavours of Minervois and Corbières wines during a special tasting with Juliet Bruce Jones, Master of Wine.
